2.3. Insurance activities
Insurance activities continued to be widely deployed to ensure the best
service for all classes of people and employees. Fully and promptly
implement the regimes and policies related to the insurance field as
prescribed.
In 2022, the whole province had 92,285 people participating in Social
insurance, an increase of 0.06%, accounting for 18.36% of the population of
working age; 790,240 people participating in Health insurance, an increase
of 4.29%, accounting for 90.27% of the province's average population and
70,258 people participating in Unemployment insurance, an increase of
1.7% over the year 2021.
Total insurance revenue in 2022 reached 2,181 billion VND, up 3.06%
compared to 2021, of which: Social insurance revenue was 1,306 billion
VND, accounting for 59.88% of total insurance revenue; Health insurance
revenue 810 billion VND, accounting for 37.14%; Unemployment insurance
revenue was 65 billion VND, accounting for 2.98%. Total insurance
expenditure in 2022 reached 3,294 billion VND, up 9.8% compared to 2021,
of which: Social insurance expenditure was 2,314 billion VND, accounting
for 70.25% of total insurance expenditure; Health insurance expenditure was
899 billion VND, accounting for 27.29%; Unemployment insurance
expenditure was 81 billion VND, accounting for 2.46%.
3. Investment
The infrastructure system is invested by the province. The projects
focus on implementation to achieve the maximum volume, along with
positive signals from the business and residential sectors, creating a driving
force for Hoa Binh province's economic growth both in the short and long
term, although the economy still faces many difficulties and challenges.
Total realized investment capital in the province in 2022 at current
prices reached 17,195 billion VND, an increase of 1.61% compared to 2021
and equal to 30.36% of GRDP, including: the State sector’s investment was
7,985 billion VND (accounting for 46.44% of total capital), an increase of
7.34%; the non-state sector’s investment 8,923 billion VND (accounting for
5 .9%), up 0.45%; the FDI sector’s investment was 287 billion VND
(accounting for 1.67%), down 52.32%.
