SOME FEATURES ON POPULATION, LABOUR
                             AND EMPLOYMENT IN 2022



               1. Population

               The  average  population  of  the  province  in  2022  reached  875,379
          people,  an  increase  of  3,655  people,  equivalent  to  an  increase  of  0.42%
          compared  to  2021,  including  the  urban  population  was  222,629  persons,
          accounting for 25.43%;  rural population was 652,750 persons, accounting
          for 74.57%; male population was 440,697 persons, accounting for 50.34%;
          female  population  was  434,682  persons,  accounting  for  49.66%  average
          population in 2022.
               The  total  fertility  rate  in  2022  reached  2.16  children/woman,
          continuing to remain at the replacement fertility rate. The sex ratio of the
          population  was   0 .38  males  00  females;  crude  birth  rate  was   2.7‰;
          crude death rate was 7.9‰. The mortality rate of children under 1 year old
          was  5. ‰. The mortality rate of children under 5 years old was 23.3‰.
          The average life expectancy of the population in the province in 2022 was
          72.69 years, of which, 70.08 years for men and 75.46 years for women.
               2. Labour and employment

               The province's labor force aged 15 and over in 2022 was estimated at
          502,744 persons, an increase of 26,408 persons compared to 2021, of which:
          male  employees  accounted  for  52.18%;  female  employees  accounted  for
          47.82%;  the labor force in  urban  areas  accounted for 20.89%;  rural  labor
          force accounted for 79.11%.
               Laborers  aged  15  years  and  older  working  in  economic  sectors  in
          2022  were  estimated  at  497,477  persons,  an  increase  of  33,303  persons
          compared to 2021, accounted for 56.83% of the population, of which, male
          employees accounted for 58.85%; female employees accounted for 54.78%;
          employees in urban areas accounted for 46.86%; employees in rural areas
          accounted for 60.23%.
               The proportion of trained workers with diplomas and certificates at the
          working age in 2022 was estimated at 26.8% (higher than the growth rate of
          23.6%  in  the  previous  year),  of  which,  trained  workers  in  urban  areas
          reached 56.5%; trained workers in rural areas reached 15.2%.

               The unemployment rate of the labor force in the working age in 2022
          was 1.21%, of which, the urban area was 0.72%; rural area was 1.35%.
