SOME FEATURES ON TRANSPORT
AND COMMUNICATION IN 2022

1. Transport

In 2022, transportation activitiy in Hoa Binh province was gradually
recovering after the Covid-19 pandemic. Transportation revenue was
estimated to increase 24.78% compared to 2021. Estimated transportation
revenue of the whole province was 1,238.47 billion VND, compared to the
same period in 2021, it increased by nearly 246 billion VND. Of which:

The number of passengers carried reached 6,682.8 thousand
passengers, the number of passengers traffic reached 488,618.4 thousand
passengers.km. Compared to 2021, the number of passengers carried
increased by 45.1%, the number of passengers traffic increased by 49.51%.

The volume of freight carried was estimated at 6,884 thousand tons,
the volume of freight traffic was 248,072,5 thousand tons.km. Compared to
2021, the volume of freight carried decreased by 11.03%, the volume of
freight traffic decreased by 7.46%.

Revenue from storage and transportation support services reached
152.79 billion VND, down 5.0% compared to 2021.

2. Communication

In 2022, the total number of phone subscribers reached 910,614 phone
subscribers, an increase of 0.47% compared to 2021 and the rate of mobile
phone subscribers was 98.30%. The number of Internet subscribers was
estimated at 575,636 subscribers, an increase of 3.59% over the same
period, the rate of subscribers using 3G and 4G was 77.57%.
