IN 2019

1. Retail sales of goods and services

In 2019, commercial business activities in the whole province of
Hoa Binh achieved good growth rate, stable basic commodity market,

all levels and sectors in the province focused on directing production
and circulation of goods. goods, actively bring consumer goods to
people, especially in remote areas... Estimated total retail sales of

goods and consumer service revenue in 2019 reached 13,856.8 billion,
up 15.60% compared to the previous year (2018 increased by
11.09%). In addition, the total retail sales reached 11,835 billion
VND, up 15.96%, accounting for 85.41%; revenue from
accommodation and catering services reached 2,011 billion VND, up

13.42%, accounting for 14.51%; tourism travel revenue reached 10.8
billion, up 35%, accounting for 0.08%.

As of 31/12/2019, there were 95 markets ranked in the whole
province, equaled to 2.15% compared to 2018; 8 supermarkets, 3
type-3 department stores; 2 type-1department stores; 1 type-1

department stores; 3 type-3 special business.

2. Tourism

Tourism activities still had many problems such as: investment
was slow and asynchronous. Tourism performance was still limited
compared to the potentiality of the tourism in Hoa Binh Province and
other provinces in the region.
