In summary, the socio-economic situation in Hoa Binh province
in 2019 continues to develop; many major socio-economic targets

have been achieved, exceeded the annual plan and increased
significantly compared to the previous year; culture - society has made
great progress, national defense and security has been maintained.
Labor, employment and social security fields are interested in
implementing and achieving certain results.

In short, socio-economic situation in Hoa Binh province in 2019
continued developing; many key socio-economic indicators reached
or even exceeded the plan and increased steeply over the previous
year; the progress of socio-culture was made; national defense and

public security remained strongly. The aspects of labor, employment,
and social security were paid much attention and attained certain
achievements.

However, the economy in Hoa Binh province still revealed some
limitations. The growth rate did not achieve its expected results, the
growth in the agriculture sector remained at a low level without
breakthrough. The progress of implementation and reimbursement of
some public investment projects was slow; the number of temporarily

ceased or dissolved enterprises was high; the people’s life in the
disaster areas faced many difficulties.
