flash floods, flooding, serious landslide damages many infrastructure
works, dozens of households have to relocate to resettlement areas, the
total damage is estimated thousands of billion VND. In such difficult
and challenging conditions, but with the determination of both the
political system and the efforts of all levels, branches, business
community and people of ethnic groups in the province, the economy

- The society of the province continues to prosper. There are 22/24
targets in the provincial resolution on economic development reaching
and exceeding the set milestones

Up to now, all the province has 51 communes meeting new rural
standards; In the year 2018 has 17 communes meeting new rural
standards, The average number of criteria for communes registered for
achieved 14.29 criteria. The whole province has 162 agricultural
cooperatives, an increase of 13 cooperatives compared to the

beginning of the year. The number of cooperatives eligible for
classification is 124 cooperatives. The total number of cooperative
members was 3,077, increased by 370 members, an average of more
than 20 members/1 cooperative, mostly representing household
members, accounting for 97%, the rest were other components. The
number of farms in the province is 110, of which 46 synthetic farms
account for 43%; 42 livestock farms account for 38%; 14 farms
accounted for 11%; 03 forestry farms accounted for 3% and 05

aquatic farms accounted for 5%. There are 79 farms that have granted
certification, farms in agriculture have been granted certification and
classification procedures.

- Social order and safety

In 2018, there were 108 traffic accidents occurred in the
province. Of which, there were 108 road accidents, causing 85 deaths
and 82 wounded. Compared to the figures of 2017, the number of
traffic accidents in 2018 declined by 6 cases, number of death
