province was estimated to reach 7,092 ha, a rise of 15.41% over 2017,
of which, the production forest was 7,862 ha, a rise of 5.36%. The

production of timber reached 526,205 m3, a rise of 7.96% over 2017.

In 2017, the province continued deploying programs and projects
of fishery development, strengthened fishery extension work and
encouraged localities within the province to take advantages of ponds,
lakes, dams, fields and irrigation works for fishery aquaculture. The
area of aquaculture achieved 2,289.3 ha, growing by 3.12% over
2017, of which the area of fish farming gained 2,288.67 ha,

accounting for 99.97% of total area, growing by 3.57% over 2017.
The production of fishery achieved 6,987.4 tons, rising 6.44%
compared to the previous year, of which the production of fishery
aquaculture was 5,330.8 tons, growing by 9.46%; the production of
aquatic capture was 1,656.68 tons, rising by 2.84%.

- Industry

The index of industrial production in 2018 increased by 10.41%
over the same period. In which: Production index of mining industry
decreased by 17.30%; processing and manufacturing industries
increased by 14.88%; the production and distribution of electricity,

gas and hot water increased by 12.44%; water supply, waste
management and treatment activities increased by 19.31%.

Consumption index of the entire processing and manufacturing
industry in 2018 reached 63.44% compared to 2017. The inventory
index of the processing and manufacturing industry at the time of
December 31, 2018 reached 63.44 % compared to the same time in
2017.

- Trade and tourism

The Gross retail sales of goods and services in 2018 were estimated
to reach 11,876.5 billion VND, increasing 0.72% compared to the
previous year. Of which, retail sales of goods was estimated at 10,101
