Where:

               NIR: Natural growth rate of population;

               B: Number of live births in the reference period;

               D: Number of deaths in the reference period;

               P: Population up to the reference time-point;

               CBR: Crude birth rate;

               CDR: Crude death rate.

               Total growth rate of population (or "population growth rate")
          reflects the increase or the decrease of the population in one period

          expressed as a percentage.

               In-migration rate reflects the number of people from different
          territorial units (out-migration place) in-migrates to a territorial unit in
          the reference period on average per 1000 population of that territorial
          unit (in-migration place).

               Where:

               IR: In-migration rate;

               I: Number of in-migrants in the reference period;

               P: Population up to the reference time-point.
               Out-migration rate reflects the number out-migrants of a

          territorial unit in the reference period on average per 1000 population
          of that territorial unit.
