PRICE INDEX IN 2019

The consumer price index (CPI) of December 2019 in Hoa Binh
compared with November 2019 increased by 0.88%; compared to the
same period last year and December 2018, all increased by 3.1%; the

average of the same period in 2019 increased by 1.85%. CPI in
December 2019 increased compared to the previous month, mainly
because:

The price index of food and catering services in December 2019
compared to the previous month increased by 2.38%: Due to the sharp

increase in live hog prices in the province, the retail price of pork in
the province also increased over the same period last year. Prices of
hams, lean pork loin, ranging from 120,000 - 130,000 VND/kg; pork
belly, pork ribs price ranges from 130,000 - 140,000 VND/kg. Other
types of processed pork, such as roast meat, spring rolls, therefore also

fluctuate. Prices of some animal organs such as heart and kidney also
increase with the daily price of meat. Due to the general impact of the
market, the beef price also increased slightly in a month, each kg of

beef also increased from 10,000 - 20,000 VND/kg depending on the type.
Traffic price index increased by 0.4%: From 1/12 domestic

gasoline price has not been adjusted up and down but due to the
impact of the price increase on November 30, gasoline price increased
slightly compared to the previous month.

Gold price index in December 2019 compared to the previous
month decreased by 0.5%, compared to the same period last year

increased by 18.69%.

USD price index decreased by 0.24% over the previous month,
compared to the same period last year increased by 1.18%.
