EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN 2018
In the school year 2018-2019, there were 229 kindergartens in
the province, consisting of 83 primary schools; 77 lower secondary
schools; 37 upper secondary schools; 145 basic general schools and 10
secondary schools; 1 general schools
At the beginning of the school year 2018-2019, there were 5,421
preschool teachers, grew by 2.57% over the same period of the school
year 2017-2018; the number of classroom general teacher was 10,083
persons, a decrease of 0.67%, consisting of: 4,865 primary teachers, a
decrease of 1.12%; 3,722 lower secondary teachers, decrease of
0.59%; 1,506 upper secondary teachers, grew by 0.60%; All general
school teachers reached at least qualification standard.
In the school year 2018-2019 in the province, the number of
preschool children was 65,525 children, increased by 1.55% compared
to the previous school year; the number of general school pupils was
156,277, increased by 5.52%, of which 79,964 primary school pupils,
jumped by 6.82%; 50,944 lower secondary school pupils, increased by
5.38% and 25,369 upper secondary school pupils, edged up by
1.90%, compared to the previous school year.
The average number of students in a kindergarten class is 24
students / class; Primary level is 25 students / class; Junior high school
level is 29 students / class and 36 high school students / class. The
average number of students per kindergarten teacher is 12 students /
teacher; Primary level is 16 students / teacher; Middle school level is
14 students / teacher and high school is 17 students / teacher.
In 2018, there was 1 professional secondary school and 6
colleges in the province. The number of professional secondary school
and colleges lecturers was 24 and 388, respectively. The number of
students in professional secondary school and colleges in 2018 was
3,485 and 779 persons, respectively. In the school year 2018-2019,
there were 1,300 students graduated from professional secondary
school and 317 students graduated from colleges. No university was
recorded.
