IN 2018

1. Retail sales of goods and services

In 2018, commercial business activities in the whole province of

Hoa Binh achieved good growth rate, stable basic commodity market,
all levels and sectors in the province focused on directing production
and circulation of goods. goods, actively bring consumer goods to
people, especially in remote areas ... Estimated total retail sales of

goods and consumer service revenue in 2018 reached 11,876.5 billion,
up 10.07% compared to the previous year (2017 increased by 7.14%).
In addition, the total retail sales reached VND 10,101 billion, up
10.33%, accounting for 85.05%; revenue from accommodation and
catering services reached VND 1,768 billion, up 8.57%, accounting

for 14.89%; tourism travel revenue reached 7.5 billion, up 17.18%,
accounting for 0.06%.

As of 31/12/2018, there were 93 markets ranked in the whole
province, equaled to 100% compared to 2017; 4 supermarkets, 3 type-
3 department stores; 1 type-3 special business.

2. Tourism
Tourism activities still had many problems such as: investment

was slow and asynchronous. Tourism performance was still limited
compared to the potentiality of the tourism in Hoa Binh Province and
other provinces in the region.
