The index of industrial inventory of manufacturing as of December 31,
2022 increased by 22.05% over the same period last year. Some industries
had high inventory index compared to the same period last year: Apparel
production increased by 136.36%; production of paper and paper products
increased by 275.73%; production of other non-metallic mineral products
increased by 411.10%; other processing and manufacturing industries
increased by 675.15%. Some industries had a decrease in inventory index
compared to the same period last year: Food production and processing
decreased by 65.43%; wood processing and production of products from
wood, bamboo and cork (except for beds, cabinets, tables and chairs);
production of products from straw, straw and plaiting materials decreased by
111.31%; metal production decreased by 25.51%; production of electronic
products, computers and optical products decreased by 24.03%.
The labor utilization index of industrial production enterprises in
2022 decreased by 4.69% compared to 2021. Some secondary activities had
an increase in labor utilization index compared to the previous year: Food
processing and manufacturing products 5.47%; production of leather and
related products increased by 8.48%; wood processing and production of
products from wood, bamboo and cork (except for beds, cabinets, tables and
chairs); production of products from straw, straw and plaiting materials
increased by 16.12%; production of electrical equipment increased by
47.47%;... Besides, a number of industries had a decrease in labor utilization
index for the whole year compared to the previous year: Printing and
copying records of all kinds decreased by 28.64%; production of beds,
cabinets, tables and chairs reduced by 65.25%; other processing and
manufacturing industries decreased by 30.19%; production and distribution
of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning fell 17.18%.
2. Investment and construction
The infrastructure system is invested by the province. The projects
focus on implementation to achieve the maximum volume, along with
positive signals from the business and residential sectors, creating a driving
force for Hoa Binh province's economic growth both in the short and long
term, although the economy still faces many difficulties and challenges.
