EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN 2021
In the 2021-2022 school year, the province has 224 preschools
and 28 primary schools; 27 junior high schools; 36 high schools; 194
junior high schools and 11 high schools; 1 inter-school (I, II, III).
At the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, the number of
kindergarten teachers was 5,452 people, a decrease of 0.13%
compared to the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year; the number
of primary school teachers directly teaching was 9,581 people, down
3.26%, including: 4,527 primary school teachers, down 3.84%; 3,501
middle school teachers, down 2.7% and 1,553 upper secondary
teachers, down 2.82%. All high school teachers have a standard or
higher training degree.
In the school year 2021-2022, the province has 56,811 children
going to preschool, a decrease of 4.26% compared to the previous
school year; 170,715 high school students, up 2.2%, including: 86,413
primary school students, up 1.37%; 57,804 junior high school
students, an increase of 4.55% and 26,498 high school students, an
decrease of 0.02%.
The average number of students in a preschool class is 23
students/class; primary level is 26 students/class; lower secondary
level is 31 students/class and upper secondary level is 36
students/class. The average number of students per kindergarten
teacher is 10 students/teacher; primary level is 19 students/teacher; the
lower secondary level is 17 students/teacher and the upper secondary
level is 17 students/teacher.
In 2021, the province has 1 professional secondary school and 6
colleges. The number of teachers in middle schools is 23 people,
colleges are 336 people. The number of intermediate students is 4,102
people, the number of college students is 908 people. In the academic
year 2020-2021, the province has 900 graduates of professional
secondary schools and 181 students of college degrees.
