SOME FEATURES ON PRICE INDEX
IN 2022

Consumer price index (CPI) in December 2022 in Hoa Binh province
compared to November 2022 decreased by 0.31%; compared to December
2021, increased by 2.55%; the average CPI in 2022 against the average in
2021 increased by 3.32%.

The average consumer price index (CPI) in 2022 increased by 3.32%
compared to the average in 2021. There were 11/11 commodity groups that
increased more than the previous year. Of which, the transportation group
increased the most by 11.8% and the post and telecommunications group
increased the lowest by 0.02%. The reason for the increase in CPI in 2022
was due to the adjustment of gasoline prices in many stages, the average
annual fuel price increases by 26.67%; in addition, the Covid-19 pandemic
was under control, the demand for eating out of restaurants increased, so the
average price of meals outside the family in 2022 increased by 2.37%

compared to 2021.
Gold price index: The average gold price index in 2022 increased by

1.55% over the same period last year; gold price in December compared to
November 2022 increased by 0.94%; compared to December 2021, it
increased by 2.64%. The monthly average retail price of gold in the
province was at 5,368,958 VND/a mace of gold.
US dollar Index: The average US dollar price index in 2022 increased

by 0.02% over the same period last year; US dollar price in December 2022
compared to November 2022 decreased by 2.44%; compared to December
2021, it increased by 3.14%. Average 1USD = 23,536 VND.
