The production index at 4-digit class of VSIC industry is the weighted
average index of indexes of items representing for such VSIC 4-digit
classes.

I qN4: Production index for the N-th class of the VSIC 4-digit class;

I qn: Production index for the n-th item in the VSIC 4-digit class;

W qn: Weight of the item n. Weight of item is the value at basic price
of the item in the base year 2015.

- Step 3: Calculating production index of VSIC 2-digit divisions

The production index at 2-digit division of VSIC industry is the

weighted average index of the production indices of VSIC 4-digit classes
under the VSIC 2-digit divisions.
