INDUSTRY
IN 2021

The index of industrial production in 2021 was estimated to
decreased by 5.74% compared to the previous year. Of which, the mining
and quarrying went down 8.8%; processing and manufacturing industry
decreased by 2.71%; the production and distribution of electricity, gas
and hot water down 8.3%; water supply industry, waste and wastewater
treatment and management activities decreased by 0.03%. The main
products that decrease, affecting the index in 2021 lower than the
previous year:

- Other construction stone reduced by 8.80%;

- Vermicelli, noodle soup, dry rice paper and the like decreased by
20.94%;

- Other foods that have not been classified in any other category
decreased by 21.25%;

- Animal feed decreased by 3.24%;

- Draft beer decreased by 8.24%;

- Curtains and draperies or bed frills reduced by 10.46%;
- Workwear, down 39.79%;

- Adult shirts, not knitted or crocheted, down 7.57%;

- Plywood reduced by 23.45%;

- Plywood from wood and similar materials decreased by 29.97%;

- Products from cork decreased by 7.41%;
- Products made of other plaiting materials decreased by 12.07%;

- Paper for making votive paper decreased by 29.67%;

- Coke production services decreased by 19.33%;

- Building bricks made of baked clay decreased by 15.67%;

- Paints and varnishes, water soluble decreased by 64.93%;
